Welcome to part two of the Stitch Pink Together quilt sew along!

We hope you’re enjoying making these blocks. We have more fun on the way! We’ll also begin to make the alternate blocks this week since there are fifteen of them included in the quilt.

2 Simple Hearts + 2 Squares Blocks (make 3)

Cutting instructions for these blocks are found on page 2 of the pattern with directions beginning on page 5.

4 Simple Hearts Block (make 1)

Cutting instructions for these blocks are found on page 2 of the pattern with directions beginning on page 6.

Alternate Blocks (make 15)

Cutting instructions for these blocks begin on page 2, and instructions for these blocks begin on page 8.

Extra Tips for Making the Alternate Blocks:

• Watch the video to see my technique for stacking and cutting multiple strip sets.
• Use the same strip piecing technique for the center and corner four-patch units.
• Consider “flipping” the center seams of the 4-patch units as shown in the video in order to eliminate bulk at the centers of these sections.
